Elementary producer is the starter level of the Fibershed family and the member is given the overall objective, vision and the mission of Fibershed. At this level the member is allowed to continue their ongoing business activities but they have to farm/harvest all fiber and hides within your province and/or Sri Lanka. Elementary members are given a range of trainings and workshop experience to change their unhealthy production practices. At this level the producer has to identify their key competencies and make a gradual shift from their current disturbed production system to climate benefitting production.
