Fibershed Sri Lanka is based in Sri Lanka, South Asia, and our team is well committed in the regional ecosystem development. Together we are committed to promoting the regional production of textiles, everyday products and fashion products made from local fibers, cultivation of cotton and convert them to handloom, production of natural dye and turn waste fibers (including plastic as an exception) into valuable materials that has a commercial business case.
We aim to create a network that connects farmers, designers, manufacturers, and artisans, fostering the revival of local industries. Investing in natural fibers now is crucial for maintaining healthy soils, clean air, and pure water, ultimately contributing to the restoration of our ecosystems.
